Spains the most important annual holidays occurs in July or August (for 3-4 weeks). The official holidays includes the first day of the New Year (1st of January), the day of three kings/ Epiphany (6th of January), Saint Joseph holiday (19th of March), Labor Day (1st of May), Santiago Day/Galician National Day (25th of July), National Day/Columbus Day (12th of October), Saint Pregnancy Day/Mothers Day (8th of December), Constitution Day (6th of December), and Christmas (25th of December).
The Day of 3 kings that is famous as Rayes Magos is the day in which Spanish people open their Christmas presents to glorify the Gods present to Saint Maria. Fiesta Carnivals are celebrated in Spain, too. These celebrations will usually start with a great rally and carnival. Music, dance, poem and songs all have a lot of fans. One of the most famous festivals in Spain is “Fallas de san” that is celebrated in March. In Juan or May thousands of people riding on horse or on beautiful phaetons goes toward EI ROCIO to glorify “Saint Maria”.
Another religious holiday is celebrated in July and for the honor of Spains supporter Saint James (Sadiago). In this day, many people from all over the world come to Spain and walk from Pierni to Galicia toward Catholic churches.
