Spanish professional footballer gave hope to terrified people of Beirut
Cesc Fàbregas, Spanish professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for English club Chelsea shared a photo of Lebanon flag on Instagram to express his sympathy for those killed in the terrorist attack in Dahieh Beirut, while all the Western media broadcasting news about terrorist attack in Paris. In his post, he prayed for peace and Lebanese people. On Sunday morning, he went to the Embassy of French, offered his condolences and signed the book written in memory of the victims on behalf of his national team. This post got more than 4.5 million likes and more than thousand comments. Lots of Lebanese appreciate him and a group of Islamism critics protest against it. Some rival teams had written for him that “you should first pray for Chelsea to be kept in the Premier League!”
